In the 1990s, Gavin Rossdale was renowned as the frontman for the popular British post-grunge alt-rock group Bush, but, after the act’s 2002 dissolution, the singer/guitarist primarily became known as Mr. Gwen Stefani. Branching out into acting--most notably as a villain in the film CONSTANTINE--Rossdale returned to music in ‘05, leading the short-lived band Institute through its debut, DISTORT YOURSELF, before issuing a solo album, WANDERLUST, in ’08. Later in that year, Rossdale announced that the likelihood of Bush reuniting was very high.
