Bleeding Tha Block XVIV Young and the Restless Best Thing Smokin'

b. Djuan Hart, 1979, Atlanta, Georgia, USA. Hart grew up in the slums of Atlanta, and his eventful upbringing led to him being shot on the streets when he was 16 and enduring several spells in jail before he had even reached 21. He began rapping during this period of his life, and by the early 00s was establishing a reputation as a face to watch on the burgeoning Atlanta scene. His debut, I Got That Dro, released under the moniker Dro, was a notable independent chart success in 2002, and spawned the club hit ‘Yes Sir’. A working partnership with long-time friend and fellow rapper T.I. led to a major label recording contract with the latter’s Grand Hustle label. His follow-up, Best Thang Smokin’, was promoted by the infectious ‘Shoulder Lean’, a US Top 20 hit in summer 2006.
