Their faces hidden by masks--and real names clouded by slang-style monikers--Hollywood Undead formed in 2005 when members Deuce and J-Dog came together around the concept of portraying suburban teens through the angst and menace of hard rock and hip-hop. Johnny 3 Tears, Charlie Scene, DJ Kurlzz, and Funny Man were soon added. By 2008, their debut, SWAN SONGS, had been released via A&M/Octone Records, and they’d been added to the nationwide Saints & Sinners Tour, alongside heavy-music heroes like Senses Fail.
