The Moment

This youthful five-piece formed in Nashville in the mid-2000s, influenced by the proliferation of contemporary emo as well as the prior decade’s legacy of mainstream modern rock. Members Ryan, Luke, Chris, Nixon and Brandon quickly made a name for themselves in a local scene populated with fellow up-and-comers like Luna Halo. In 2006, they caught the ear of Creed bassist Brett Hestla, who produced some demos for the band and sent them to Creed producer Jeff Hanson. Hanson then signed Framing Hanley to his Silent Majority Group label and released 2008’s THE MOMENT, which featured their hit single, “Hear Me Now.”
