That Lonesome Song The Dollar

Singer-songwriter Jamey Johnson has gained renown on the contemporary country scene both as a solo recording artist and a writer of material for others. Johnson’s command of both ballads and country barnburners earned him a rising profile, and he contributed songs for Gretchen Wilson, George Strait, John Michael Montgomery, and Trace Adkins, who enjoyed chart success with the Johnson-penned “Ladies Love Country Boys” and “Honky Tonk Badonkadonk.” In 2006, Johnson’s debut, THE DOLLAR, appeared, proving Johnson as adept in front of the curtain as behind it. THAT LONESOME SONG followed in 2008.
