This Christian rock band is the side project of Underoath drummer Aaron Gillespie (b. 18 July 1983, Clearwater, Florida, USA). The project took shape at the end of 2005 when Gillespie began recording demo solo material. Writing and recording with producer Aaron Sprinkle, with occasional guest vocals from Jeremy Enigk of Sunny Day Real Estate and Kenny Vasoli of the Starting Line, an album quickly took shape and Southern Weather was released via Underoath’s label Tooth & Nail in April 2007. The album stuck close to the emo rock blueprint of Underoath, with the notable exception of the countrified Enigk collaboration ‘Dirty And Left Out’. Gillespie recruited Jay Vilardi (guitar), Nick D’Amico (guitar), Alex Aponte (bass) and Kenny Bozich (drums) to help tour the album.
