A Manhattan-born rock artist signed to the renowned rap-centric Cash Money label, Kevin Rudolf forged a name for himself as a session guitarist with acts such as the Black Eyed Peas and the Neptunes before making the leap to solo performer with 2008’s IN THE CITY. Mentored by Timbaland and Lil Wayne, Rudolf incorporates hip-hop into his pop-friendly approach, but largely sticks to a straight-ahead guitar-heavy sound, as best revealed on his hit single, “Let It Rock.”
