Born Marcus Cooper in Hollywood, Florida, the talented young R&B artist known as Pleasure P debuted in 2005 as lead singer of boy band Pretty Ricky. After two successful and distinctively raunchy albums (BLUESTARS and LATE NIGHT SPECIAL) with the four-man group, Pleasure P split from Pretty Ricky in 2007, taking an earnest approach to more mature R&B as a solo artist. Pleasure P released the singles “Boyfriend #2” and “Did You Wrong” in 2008 ahead of his anticipated debut album, THE INTRODUCTION OF MARCUS COOPER.
