The alias of young Owatonna, Minnesota-based Christian electronica artist Adam Young, Owl City takes the keyboard-centric indie-pop aesthetic of the Postal Service, and glosses it with an emo-oriented, tween-friendly veneer. One of the most popular unsigned artists on MySpace, Young, who also counts Swimming With Dolphins and Port Blue among his musical projects, released a number of albums on his own, including MAYBE I’M DREAMING, before unveiling the highly anticipated OCEAN EYES.
