Dean Brody

After two years spent slugging it out in the Nashville trenches with little success, Canadian country singer Dean Brody moved back to Canada, intending to give up his lifelong dream and return to work in a mine. Luckily, the next day he received word that he had been offered a record deal. Brody’s self-titled debut album was a new traditionalist-style pairing of heartfelt story songs and stripped-down instrumentation which resulted in the heart-wrenching war-themed hit single “Brothers.”
